TV Cords Tucked Away For Now

 

Ever wonder what to do with your TV cords? Well, we had that problem a few weeks ago and it is no longer a problem anymore! Yay!!

On Wednesdays blog post, I wrote about how we were going to hide our television cord since we moved our TV to a different part of our family room. We purchased some electrical tape at Home Depot and after wrapping the tape around our cord, we were able to use some special nails to tap these puppies into the wall so they stay secure. Thankfully, we didn't have to buy much for this project...all we bought was the electrical tape and we had everything else on hand! Gotta love that!

 

 

 

So in these pictures you can see the cover and the nail that goes over the cord and keeps it in place on the wall.

 

So, it isn't a perfect solution, but it was the best one for us and really, even though it is hard to tell in this picture, the cord is right up to the mantle and is out of the way for the most part.

 

This is the other side of the mantle and it is so much better than having cords hanging out everywhere.

It was quite the mess!

I am glad we were able to find a solution to get this television cord out of the way.
