Intellectual Gray by Sherwin Williams

Today's post title is a bit weird, but I will explain.
Ever since we moved in to our new place, I have been wanting to paint a few of our walls a neutral gray. I know gray is pretty popular now, but I used it in our last home in our master bedroom and LOVED it! Plus, a lot of what I wear is gray/black/white and green, so it makes sense to decorate using those colors in our home.

I am pretty sure I know what color I am painting our dining room and our family room and kitchen area...but I am waiting for Sherwin Williams to have another great sale since that is where I get my paint colors from anyways. They are so great and their colors last a long time. The one color I have fallen in love with is Intellectual Gray. I have only seen it used a few times on other blogs, but that is fine with me...I don't want to use what everyone else is using for their wall color- if that makes any sense. To be consistent, I am using mostly this color swatch for our home...with a few exceptions thrown in there like our laundry room and mudroom. More to come on those later!

Anyways, I was able to find a few inspirational pictures out there of this beautiful gray and I am pretty sure it will be going on the upper walls of our dining room. I can't wait!!

This photo I found on Houzz.com and Joanna Gaines used it. I love that woman! She has a great talent and more importantly a love for the Lord!

Intellectual Gray was used on the cabinets here and throughout this home.

    1. Hi Julia...I found it through a Google search...I think. It is a pretty color that can take on a green hue.
