Updates to the Entryway Table

Hi everyone!
Good morning and happy Thursday! (When I first went to write my post, I typed Tuesday and not Thursday....oops!)

Anywhoooo's......

Today I want to share some pictures of our updated entryway table.
It's nothing too fancy (fancy is not really my style) but it's a comfy place to blog and keep our things which works perfectly for my family and I.

Enjoy some pictures while I tell you a little bit about what I added.
(And I want to make sure to mention again that this desk cost a whopping total of $9.00!!!!!!)
So excited about that! :)

The drawers still need work, but we just haven't gotten around to that yet. We will though!

I used some empty food storage cans to place some flowers in and added some twine to the middle of them for a little something extra.

The lamp stand I purchased at the thrift store for $3.00 and spray painted it with Rustoleum's High Gloss White.
The lamp shade is from Target.

I made our pen/pencil/scissor container using a food can and some yellow yarn.

Still not sure if I am going to add anything to the left wall next to our gallery wall.
I also painted 3 of our picture frames with the left over Sea Salt paint.
Can you tell I love Sherwin Williams Sea Salt yet? It is a great color!  :)
I also used it in our guest bathroom.

And one more quick "Before" and "After" of our thrift store find!

So what do you think?
Have you found anything from the thrift store to use in your home?

  3. Love finding treasures at the thrift store and upcycling items at home, love the way the desk turned out and your little touches with the vases and pencil holder. Mostly my thrift store finds recently have been picture frames as I am working on a gallery wall but always keep my eye out for anything and everything to add that little touch to my home for less :D

    1. We finally found a thrift store by us that sells decent furniture all the time and for great deals, too! I hope you can find everything you are looking for at the thrift store. It's always fun to check out what they have. :)
